Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist III at CHI St. Joseph Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care through the operation of ionizing radiation-producing equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of imaging principles and be able to perform complex technical tasks associated with x-ray imaging units and related equipment. Additionally, they will utilize innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient experience for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of specialized equipment, including x-ray imaging units
- Assist physicians with interventional imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast as needed
- Maintain effective communication with radiologists and other staff members to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Educational background: Associates Degree in Allied Health or Radiologic Technology
- Two years of experience in imaging, preferably in a hospital setting
Required Licensure and Certifications
- ARRT (R) certification
- TX MRT licensure
