This role involves collaborating with patients to produce high-quality radiographs, CT scans, and DEXA images to aid in disease and injury diagnosis as prescribed by physicians.

To be successful, you'll need to understand the importance of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of general imaging workflows, patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for:
- Efficient interpretation of clinical information from team meetings to meet radiology needs of patients.
- Accurate imaging technique for patient positioning according to orders.
- Maintaining hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
- Routinely applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to prevent equipment failures.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be a graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Hold an AAS Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree from an accredited program.
- Be registered as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or registry-eligible within six months of hire date.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CT training.
- Dexa experience.
Pay Range:
$25.18 - $36.52 per hour. CHI LakeWood Health is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
