Job Details $2400 Sign on Bonus - New Hire Only The Medical Technician is responsible for performs a variety of clinical tests. Responsibilities : Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and / or bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease. Requirements : Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required. Licensed under the NYS Dept. of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technician required. Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and / or microbiology required. Hospital experience desired. Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled. One-year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required Salary Range USD $35.64 - USD $49.90 / Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
