Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients during the peri-operative period. This includes observing the patient upon admission to OR, helping plan nursing intervention based on the Plan of Care, and maintaining sterile technique. Additionally, the individual will assist the surgeon, anticipate the surgeon's needs, and establish appropriate priorities.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. Certification as an Operating Room Surgical Technician required. Prior experience working in an Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital preferred.
