Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, Northtowns, provides support services and performs general office duties in addition to performing typing and other clerical activities for the department and department administration.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- Advanced degree in secretarial science preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Pre-Hire Experience- One (1) year medical office experience preferred
- Post-Hire Experience- two (2) to six (6) weeks of orientation, depending on prior experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Personal computer, telephone, fax machine, hospital computer systems, copy machine, automated medication dispensing machines
- Computer literate, knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office package
- Medical terminology experience helpful
- Strong mathematical background preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication
