Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare rooms for surgical procedures, scrub in on cases and perform counts.
- Clean rooms and instruments, restock supplies in OR and LDR areas.
- Assist in positioning, prepping and draping of patients for the procedure.
- Must be able to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), provide basic nursing care to patients, performs EKG and phlebotomy and assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
- Ability to transfer patients to other units and run errands, especially to pharmacy and the lab, are also required.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Completion of OR/Surgical Technologist program.
- Certified as Surgical Tech through NBSTSA
- Minimum of one year related experience required.
Salary Range
USD $38.85 - USD $43.70 /Hr.
