Responsibilities of the Diet Clerk: 

• Ability to work with CBORD Room service computer system
• Guide patients with menu choices when needed based on therapeutic diets
• Ability to enter all needed changes into patient card files
• Properly identify patients using patient name and date of birth on patients arm band
• Work independently in high stress environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Keep assigned areas and equipment clean and well organized

Requirements for the Diet Clerk role include: 

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of CBORD systems
• Knowledge and understanding of therapeutic diets
• Basic understanding of patient care
