Job Details
The Echocardiographer performs cardiac ultrasound examinations on both in and out patients. Sets up equipment, documents patients’ complete history and explains the procedures to be performed. Prepares preliminary evaluations and communicates the results to the cardiologist.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors, Associates or a graduate of an AMA approved Ultrasound School required.
Licensure/Certification: Registry status required with ARDMS to continue employment after one year. Must be CPR certified.
Skills: Excellent communication skills required
Salary Range
USD $53.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
