Job Details
Nurse Educator - Critical Care RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess clinical skills and learning needs of staff
- Designs and implements staff based development programs
- Collaborates with preceptor in developing and evaluating employees
- Coordinates orientation
- Oversight of the ED and ICU/CCU
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or working toward Master’s Degree required.
- Current licensure as R.N. in New York State required
- BCLS instructor preferred
- Certification in specialty area preferred
- Experience in IABP and Impella Device preferred
- Stroke and Sepsis Joint Commission disease specific certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience; applicable teaching and clinical experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS required.
Salary Range
USD $62.16 - USD $87.59 /Hr.

The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
