Endoscopy NP Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the initiation of a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care
• Performs physical examination and comprehensive patient assessment on pre-surgical patients
• Collects and collages all pertinent patient information related to diagnosis and demographics
• Initiates patient on the designated clinical pathway
• Ensures that all tests, therapies and treatments associated with the pathway are begun
• Demonstrates care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights

Endoscopy NP Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Graduate of an accredited program for Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Current licensure by N.Y.S. Dept. of Education to practice as RN and NP. Master's Degree and Certification required
• Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
