Job Details
Responsible for coordination and planning of product standardization for CHS. Oversees the daily operations, management and direction of product standardization and utilization. To have active involvement with all CHS entities issues related to systems and standardization programs.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corporate Liaison for Inventory Control, Logistics and Standardization Projects, working in coordination with Supply Chain leadership. |
Works with hospital departments to determine needs, establish specifications for the division, practicing ongoing cost containment, monitoring and documenting all cost savings. |
Maintains established corporate and departmental policies and procedures, goals and objectives with the leadership of The Supply Chain |
Monitors vendor behavior. |
Validate Consignment throughout the hospital/ reduce as needed and effectively monitor. |
Works in coordination with Distribution to identify and create par levels throughout the hospital |
Work in coordination with the Supply Chain Contract Service Department to optimize cost and service. |
Education and reeducation of Hospital Supplies and capture opportunities with product utilization. |
Coordinates and assists with special projects and performs other duties as directed |
Steps in as chair for all Clinical Focus Groups at all CHS entities.

Steps in as chair for the Product Evaluation / Standardization Committees at all CHS Entities. |
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Registered Nurse in NY State or comparable knowledgebase in clinical hospital subspecialties and divisions. Bachelors Degree required. Masters Preferred.
Skills: Relates constructively and cooperatively with clinical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, and CHS team members.
Salary Range
USD $250,000.00 - USD $300,000.00 /Yr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
