Essential Functions:
- Attend branch events, annual branch socials, branch officer meetings, member appreciation events and convention.
- Prepare materials for meetings as requested.
- Recruit, coach and maintain strong connections with branch officers.
- Develop succession plan for branch officer roles.
- Assist with the development of an onboarding program for new members and branch officers.
- Assists with researching and writing of the quarterly Catholic Life Insurance Magazine.
- Coordinates, assists with planning, and attends/participates special company events.
- Assists with annual Membership Drive.
- Assists with the Catholic Schools Charitable Raffles program.
- Provides support in training new team members and steps in to assist with duties during the absence of other team members.
- Manages and maintains social media for organization.
- Responsible for management of electronic message sign.
- Creates and develops other materials including: press releases, public service announcements, presentations, feature articles, flyers, and surveys.
- Manages administration of various fraternal benefit programs, i.e., scholarship programs.
- Responsible for documenting special events through photography and videography, as well as creating and editing video content and presentations.
- Additionally, oversees all aspects of media coverage and coordination.
- Attends various professional seminars/conventions as required.
- Assists members with member portal issues e.g., password resets.
- Assist with other duties and projects as requested.
Competencies:
- Requires intermediate clerical skills: keyboarding (45 wpm), 10 key (4500 ksph), filing, copying, scanning, faxing, proofreading, researching, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hour workweek). Position requires various hours; nights and weekends included. Incumbent is expected to manage their workweek in order to maximize their efficiency in the field in regard to time and resources. When not in the field, is expected to keep regular office hours.
Travel
Travel may be both local and outside local area, overnight and weekends, to include air travel, as directed by VP. Exempt team members who are required to travel for essential business are expected to work remotely while out of town on business. Remote work is approved when work travel is required and approved by VP.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment 70% of the time and in the field 30% of the time. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Required Education and Experience
- Experience working with and recruiting volunteers
- Minimum three years related experience and one year experience within the life insurance industry
Preferred Education and Experience
- College or University Degree in related area
- Fraternal Insurance Experience
- Professional Industry Designations i.e., FIC
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with Catholic Life Insurance
- LOMA Level 1 Certification (281 & 291), Company sponsored certification required as part of initial training plan upon hire.

Salary : $48,000 - $55,000
