Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Who you are:

You are a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with a strong background in radiological procedures. With a keen eye for detail and proficiency in using advanced interventional radiological equipment, you excel in providing exceptional care during cardiac catheterization procedures. You are comfortable working in a high-stakes environment, adept at handling multiple tasks, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

What You'll Do:

• Operate x-ray equipment following prescribed procedures and ensure proper positioning of patients during cardiac procedures.
• Perform panning during coronary injections and adhere to film processing and quality assurance procedures.
• Prepare patients and set up necessary equipment for procedures, including drawing LV Grams using GE Medical Systems Equipment.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in procedural rooms, manage equipment, and operate the MIDAS computer for accurate waveform analysis.
• Handle pre-procedure data collection and perform other related tasks as required.
• Work an eight to twelve-hour shift as needed, with on-call responsibilities and flexibility to cover for absences.

What You'll Bring:

• Graduation from a certified radiological school.
• At least two years as a Special Procedure Radiology Technician or one year as a Cath Lab Radiological Technician.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Certified Radiological Technologist, and registration with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians.
• Ability to deliver tailored patient care, physical stamina to handle extended periods of activity, and excellent communication skills.
• Capability to handle physical demands, use safety equipment, and work effectively under pressure while managing interruptions and unexpected situations.
