What You'll Do:
- Lead, supervise, and schedule clinical nursing staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
- Function as a staff nurse, delivering patient care in accordance with job responsibilities.
- Assess and evaluate the clinical competency of staff based on patient acuity and case complexity.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide leadership in maintaining high standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to strategic planning, budget development, and service improvement plans in the cardiology department.
- Manage the hiring, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff, including new employee orientation and competency-based training.
- Oversee inventory, equipment management, and patient education materials for the outpatient cardiology service.
- Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement initiatives, and patient, physician, and employee satisfaction evaluations.
- Cultivate open, effective communication and positive relationships with staff, cardiologists, and other healthcare providers.
What You'll Bring:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 4-5 years of recent clinical experience in cardiac care.
- Current RN license in New Hampshire
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain throughout employment).
- Expertise in delivering patient care, assessing clinical competencies, and fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and lead a team toward achieving goals.
- A willingness to embrace learning opportunities for personal and professional development.
