What You'll Do:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic and vascular/interventional radiographic procedures for patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Assist physicians with special procedures such as vascular, neurological, and digital exams, utilizing specialized equipment.
- Administer contrast media and ensure radiation safety protocols are followed to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
- Position and prepare patients for exams, assist with immobilization, and provide care throughout the procedure.
- Work closely with patients to explain the nature of exams and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education to maintain clinical competency and stay current in the field of radiology.
What You'll Bring:
- Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training in an ARRT-approved school.
- 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with hands-on expertise in both general and interventional radiographic procedures.
- Current ARRT certification and state licensure with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call as required, including reporting to IR call within 30 minutes of activation.
- Commitment to adhering to radiation safety standards, patient confidentiality, and quality care.
