What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Cardiology Clinic position at Catholic Medical Center?

As a Cardiology Clinic RN for New England Heart Institute at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are passionate about being part of a world-class team, delivering the most leading/cutting edge cardiac care to our patients. You love Cardiology and you are a consummate team player.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with our Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver care to our Cardiology patients, to include, but not limited to:
- Conduct telephone triage
- Conduct nursing visits with patients in clinic:
- Routine or Urgent visits
- Educate patients and family members on cardiac symptoms, disease state, and medications
- Ensure all applicable testing for cardiac patients are complete (per plan of care)
- Collaborate with external providers to ensure patient safety secondary to non-cardiac interventions
What you'll bring:
- 2 years' experience as a RN in one or more of the following areas:
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Cardiovascular Surgical Unit
- ED
- ICU
- NH State RN licensure is required
- American Heart Association BLS Certification is required
