What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Clinical Decision Unit position at Catholic Medical Center?
Who you are:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you will provide nursing care to patients in a short-term observation unit designed to assess and manage patients who require further evaluation but do not require immediate hospital admission. The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and be dedicated to making a positive impact on the experience of our patients.
What you'll do:
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
- Employing your critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes
- Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting plan of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the CMC.
- You will serve as a mentor for your team.
- You'll have the opportunity to join various clinical committees to help drive exceptional care and create positive outcomes for our patients.
What you'll bring:
1 years of experience as a RN
Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH
American Heart Association BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
BSN strongly preferred
