What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Heart and Vascular Interventional Unit position at Catholic Medical Center?
Who you are:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Heart & Vascular Interventional Unit at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you thrive on the fast pace of admitting patients and prepping them for their procedure. The population includes cardiac caths, TAVRs, cardiac ablations, Watchmen and more! Your assessment skills will be key in order to detect any changes in your patients post procedure. Many of the patients are able to go home the same day.
What you'll do:
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
- Employ your critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes
- Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting a plan of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the CMC.
- You will serve as a mentor for your team
- You'll have the opportunity to join various clinical committees to help drive exceptional care and create positive outcomes for our patients
What you'll bring:
- 1 years of experience as a RN
- Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred
- Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
- BSN strongly preferred
