Catholic Memorial is looking for an experienced and skilled educator who is passionate about working with a diverse range of students.
School Counseling
-Lead a caseload of approximately 150
students in grades 9 – 12.
- Counsel students while developing
academic, social, and emotional skills.
- Provide individualized student planning
and responsive services to support
students and their families.
- Key member of Student Success Team,
identifying students who may need
targeted or intensive services, and
coordinating responses.
College Counseling
- Counsel students and parents regarding
all aspects of the college search
experience, including use of Scoir.
- Write thoughtful, personalized counselor
recommendation letters to support senior
student applications.
- Consult regularly with college admissions
partners on current practices and
admissions trends while advocating on
behalf of student applicants.
Qualifications:
- MA Counseling Licensure preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s
Degree preferred.
- Preferred experience in high schools,
college admissions, or academic support.
- Effective planning, organizational, and
data analysis skills required.
