Job Summary
Our incoming third-grade teacher will join a dynamic and engaged team of educators dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The teacher will create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans following the CCSS and Diocesan Religion Standards to cultivate academic, social, and spiritual development. Teacher aide support and specialty teachers help create a joyful and productive classroom environment ideal for teaching and learning.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities that align with the school's curriculum and Catholic values.
- Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning and growth.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students to meet their diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress and communicate with parents / guardians regularly to keep them informed of their child's progress.
- Collaborate with the Lower School team, school faculty, and staff to support the school's mission and values.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events as required.
- Integrate Catholic faith and values into daily instruction and activities.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures regarding safety, behavior, and conduct.
