This role is ideal for those looking to gain experience in a dynamic retail environment, particularly within a grocery store setting. As a key member of our team, you will engage with customers, assist with product demonstrations, and support the overall operations of the store during busy weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with shoppers and assisting them with their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and encourage sales.
• Stock shelves efficiently and maintain organized displays to enhance the shopping experience.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to promote products and services.
• Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with product demos and retail sales strategies is a plus.
• Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist in inventory management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work weekends consistently, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance customer satisfaction.
