Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in day-to-day operations and decision-making
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with their purchases and help them find the products they need
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Train and supervise retail sales associates to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising products
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Support the store manager in implementing sales strategies to drive revenue
Skills:
- Assistant manager experience in a retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle phone inquiries professionally
- Experience in wireless sales or retail sales is a plus
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) are a plus
- Leadership skills to motivate and guide team members
