Part time Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers to drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring that our products are well-stocked and displayed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using the POS system.
• Restock shelves and ensure that merchandise is presented in an appealing manner.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus but not mandatory.
