Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Supervise and train junior sales staff as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Strong understanding of retail math principles
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in grocery store or retail sales preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to stock and organize inventory
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is advantageous
