We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff in delivering high-quality dining experiences in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and kitchen staff.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous , restaurant, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks including food preparation and bussing as needed.
- A commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices within the culinary space.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
