As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation to food preparation and quality control. You will be responsible for leading and managing a small, hardworking kitchen team while ensuring that every dish is prepared to the highest standard. Creativity, passion, and a strong work ethic are essential in this role.

• Menu Creation & Development: Curate innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the spirit of the Catskill region, keeping the offerings fresh and exciting.
• Kitchen Leadership: Lead, train, and inspire a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations during service.
• Food Quality & Consistency: Maintain high standards of food quality, ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to perfection.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, ordering, and purchasing of ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our customers.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management.
• Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality, delicious food.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Creative, innovative, and able to adapt to changing trends and customer preferences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
