Catskill Dermatology, a multi locations Dermatology practice is looking for an experienced, well-organized Receptionist for our Goshen NY Office.
Related experiences in scheduling patients, managing insurance portals information, collecting medical and cosmetic balances, within a busy fast pace medical office setting.Will be responsible for gathering and entering patients information correctly into the system.
Must be able to give accurate and professional telephone support for incoming calls. Excel as a team player, must be motivated, self-directed and have the ability to work independently, making reminder calls and managing clinic scheduling.
Job Tasks requirements (include but not limited to):
- Serve as the first and last person of contact with greeting patients and visitors.
- Check out patients
- inviting them to schedule their next appointments, collecting payments
- Support office staff as needed. (Filing away charts and pulling charts)
- Understand all services and appointment types.
- Maintain reception workstation in a neat and organized manner.
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone.
- Ability to work Efficiently and multi-task.
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Retrieve PCP referrals and authorization
- Attentiveness to detail (serious inquiries only)
- No weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
