About the Position
Cattaraugus/Allegany BOCES is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Youth Services Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and daily operations of engaging and enriching afterschool and summer programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement program development and implementation strategies that align with the school's mission and district instructional goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to identify student needs and integrate afterschool programming with the regular school day curriculum.
- Oversee daily programmatic operations to ensure youth receive high-quality educational and support services in a safe and well-managed environment.
- Collect, analyze, and utilize program data to inform program improvements and contribute to data-driven decision-making within the school.
- Assist in the evaluation of program results by providing leadership in all phases of program development and implementation processes.
Requirements
- Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with an Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience in program administration or management experience.
- In accordance with the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) legislation, Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and by the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, candidates for appointment in school districts must obtain clearance for employment from the State Education Department prior to employment based upon a fingerprint and criminal history background check.
