Position Overview : The Senior AI and Analytics Engineer plays a critical role in developing and optimizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within the organization. Reporting to the Director of Business Applications, this role combines expertise in machine learning, AI-driven analytics, data engineering, and business intelligence to design solutions that support decision-making, streamline operations, and improve performance across multiple departments.

This individual will lead the development and implementation of AI models, analytics tools, and predictive systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business objectives. The Senior AI and Analytics Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining cutting-edge knowledge in AI trends and ensuring seamless integration of AI models into the organization's data platforms.

Responsibilities :

AI Development and Implementation

  • Identify opportunities to design, develop, and implement machine learning models and AI algorithms to improve business processes and facilitate decision-making.
  • Explore, build, and implement large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI) tools for predictive analytics, automated workflows, and process optimization.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and optimization of AI systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance while also remaining available to resolve technical issues related to AI implementation, model performance, and data integration.

Data Engineering and Analytics

  • Collect and analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that advance strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to ensure AI models are properly implemented into company platforms and processes.
  • Business Strategy and AI Alignment

  • Assess AI investments and partnerships, advising leadership on the adoption of new AI technologies.
  • Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for AI projects that improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance across business functions, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Collaboration and Communication

  • Train and guide teams on AI best practices and emerging trends in AI and analytics.
  • Present complex data insights and technical solutions to stakeholders with various levels of technical expertise.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related analytical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in data analytics, AI, machine learning, or in a similar role, preferably with some experience in the financial industry.
  • Expert proficiency in Python / R, SQL, and relational databases, with frontend development experience (Streamlit, React, or Angular).
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning, including ability to manipulate large datasets and develop predictive models.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake) and modern AI architectures (Vector Stores, Chunking, Agentic Workflows).
  • Professional Competencies :

  • Strong business acumen with the demonstrated ability to align AI-driven solutions across various organizational functions.
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, predictive modeling, and natural language processing (NLP) coupled with proven experience in AI development, data analytics, and model deployment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and strategic thinker, capable of proactively identifying and solving AI-related challenges.

  • Annual Salary : $150,000 - $170,000. Additionally, the Sr. AI and Analytics Engineer will be eligible for an annual, discretionary bonus.
