Chief of Staff:
The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor and right-hand person to the CEO, helping to manage day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and internal communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of the fast-paced food industry. This role is critical to ensuring that the CEO can focus on high-priority activities and that the organization operates efficiently and effectively.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Assist the CEO in developing and implementing the company’s strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the execution of key projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provide analytical and decision-making support to the CEO on strategic matters.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Establish project goals, timelines, and deliverables, and track progress against them.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
Operational Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations.
- Manage the CEO’s schedule, prioritizing meetings and engagements to maximize productivity.
Leadership and Team Support:
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other executives, providing updates and ensuring alignment.
- Mentor and support the leadership team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Facilitate leadership meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and follow-up actions
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Draft internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents for various stakeholders.
- Represent the CEO in meetings and communications when required.
Special Projects:
- Take on special projects and assignments as directed by the CEO.
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making.
The Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role, with a background in project management.
- Proven experience in the food industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
