Landscaping Laborer
Landscaper:
If you have experience in landscaping and enjoy working outside, a career with Cavacini Landscaping could be the job for you.
General Duties:
- Upgrading/maintaining existing outdoor landscapes
- Installing/constructing new landscapes
- Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns
- Weeding and mulching landscape beds
- Trimming trees, hedges and shrubs
- Removing unwanted, dead and damaged trees and shrubs
- Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
- Monitoring and maintaining plant health
- Deliveries of products/bulk materials
- Fall cleanups
- Winter maintenance including snowplowing, shoveling and salting
Skills:
- Knowledge in creating pleasant outdoor landscape areas in both personal homes and commercial areas
- Landscaping experience is preferred
- General skills of leaf blowers, trimmers, mowers and other landscaping equipment is preferred (training provided)
- Operation skills of Bobcat and forklift is a bonus (training available)
Requirements:
- Must be available seasonally from mid to late March through December
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted
- Valid drivers license
