Job Description
Cavalier Mobile X-Ray is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mobile imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality radiographic examinations as ordered by attending physicians, adhering to established imaging protocols and procedures.
- Perform electrocardiography (EKG), pacemaker checks, and holter monitoring examinations as required, ensuring accurate results and timely completion.
- Adjust technical factors and positioning to obtain quality images based on patient condition, working effectively in a mobile environment.
- Prepare requisitions, patient histories, and contact referring physicians as necessary, following established procedures and verifying scripts.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the relevant specialty.
- State licensure (if required by law).
- Ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) compliance for the relevant specialty.
