Job Summary
This position is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives in the south Florida territory. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of success in managing sales teams and developing strategies to drive revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain effective customer relationships and promote the company's goodwill throughout the trade area.
- Supervise and direct assigned route sales managers and representatives to ensure optimal sales and distribution of products, while maintaining morale and motivation.
- Conduct regular meetings with district sales managers to review performance and provide guidance.
- Implement and execute the company's sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Schedule personnel to cover promotional activities, worksite visits, and crew drives.
- Handle supplier relationships as required.
- Identify and prioritize sales and placements in key accounts.
- Assist in organizing the sales department's structure, including assigning accounts and territories.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and training of the sales team.
- Assist in optimizing route efficiency and phasing to maximize time and dollars per stop.
- Communicate with key account managers on product opportunities and develop approaches in the trade channel.
- Communicate with district managers on scheduling joint efforts in the market within the sales teams to drive portfolio knowledge and sales.
- Communicate with the state sales manager on prepared monthly sales objectives and a plan of action related to business activities.
- Maintain awareness of industry developments and respond accordingly.
