We are seeking an Automaton Apprentice or Technician for our growing company. The Automation Apprentice or Technician will learn to fabricate, repair, troubleshoot automated operations for the production floor machines. The apprentice or technician will learn PLC, pneumatic, serve, and devices necessary to machine or program to produce parts.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate, program, self-directed operations
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic machine shop experience measuring devices.
- Basic mechanical background.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma or higher in advanced manufacturing or machine shop.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and/or walk 80% of the day
- Must be able to climb over 15 feet
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
This is not a remote position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
