We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in the garment construction process, ensuring that each piece meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. You will work closely with our design team to bring their visions to life while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments according to specifications.
• Perform alterations and repairs on clothing items as needed.
• Collaborate with designers to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Utilize basic math skills to measure fabric accurately and calculate necessary adjustments.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with finished products.

Experience

• Proven experience in sewing, preferably in a fashion retail or garment construction environment.
• Proficiency in operating various sewing machines and tools.
• Strong understanding of garment construction techniques and fabric types.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Previous experience in customer service is a plus, enhancing the overall client experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.10 - $17.82 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
