What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Cave Quarries, Inc.?
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to become a part of our team! You will operate a Heavy Equipment in a crushed stone surface mining environment.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as front end yard loader, front end pit loader, haul trucks, stock out trucks, excavators or other equipment as trained and as required.
- Assist with crushing plant maintenance and repairs when required
- Inspect equipment and perform daily service tasks
- Communicate need for maintenance or repair
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications: * Previous experience in mining or construction preferred but will train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work in outdoors in a mining environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $975.00 - $1,125.00 per week
