Janitorial Worker

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in two facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both commercial and industrial settings.

*Duties*

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. .

- Execute industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

- Carry out custodial responsibilities including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.

- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.

- Engage in floor care activities including stripping, waxing, and polishing as required.

- Act as a porter when necessary, ensuring that common areas are tidy and

*Experience*

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.

- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.

- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.

- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

- Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while completing assigned tasks.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
