Cavender is looking for a recruiter to add to their team! The recruiter is responsible for creating and maintaining all job postings for Cavender Auto Group. This position requires excellent time management and follow up processes.
Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Salary will be discussed during the interview.
Occasional travel in San Antonio and surrounding areas may be required for job fairs and dealership visits.

Recruiter Responsibilities for multiple dealerships:
- Actively recruit for all positions across multiple dealerships.
- Screen applicants and conduct phone interviews.
- Send video interviews and skills assessments to screened applicants.
- Work with directors and VP’s to determine hiring needs.
- Prepare and place job postings through various recruiting channels.
- Assist managers with scheduling interviews.
- Work with directors to build job descriptions for newly created positions.
- Create a pool of candidates through job fairs, social networking, community organizations, Internet data mining, and media channels
- Create various marketing media for recruiting and job fairs.
- Assist new hire coordinator with various onboarding tasks.
Recruiter Requirements:
- Prior agency experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in high volume recruiting preferred
- Must be very detail orientated.
- Ability to cultivate and build relationships
- Strong follow up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
- Proficient in Google Documents.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in high stress situations.
- Time Management skills.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
