About Us: Cavender Auto is a leading Buy Here Pay Here dealership, selling an average of 80 vehicles per month and currently servicing over 1,650 accounts. We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Warranty Repair Customer Service person.
Position Overview: In this role, you will handle customer service requests, order parts, file reports, and track vehicles through our warranty repair department. You will also work closely with our Service Director and Assistant Service Managers, as well as the sales and collections departments to ensure smooth operations and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong motivational and computer skills, with Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a professional and friendly approach.
- Create and manage accurate service orders and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s service needs and provide clear explanations of recommended repairs.
- Order necessary parts and ensure timely availability to support scheduled services.
- Track vehicles through the service process, ensuring smooth progress from start to finish.
- File reports related to service work and maintain detailed records.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of service work
- Schedule and track service appointments and follow up with customers as needed.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with the sales department to coordinate service needs and resolve any issues related to vehicle sales.
- Work with the collections department to manage warranty-related account issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the Service Manager and Service Writers in overseeing daily operations of the service department.
- Ensure all service and repair work meets Cavender Auto’s high standards and achieves customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Agent Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Handling phone calls and disgruntled customers
- Proficiency with service management software and tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales and collections departments.
- Self-starter with strong motivation and leadership skills.
Compensation:
- Starting pay of $14.00 - 15.00 per hour depending on experience.
