Overview
The File Clerk role is a detail-oriented position responsible for scanning, managing, printing, sorting, and filing invoices to ensure they are accurately organized and easily accessible. The File Clerk will work closely with the Accounts Payable team to support the company’s financial operations and maintain an efficient and organized filing system for all invoice-related documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the "Cavender’s Culture" and uphold our Mission, Vision, and Values
- Scan invoices into the company’s document management system with accuracy
- Rename scanned invoices to match company protocols for easy identification
- Print invoices received via email and ensure they are prepared for sorting
- Sort printed invoices by date to maintain proper chronological order
- File keyed invoices in numeric order for efficient retrieval during check runs
- Maintain organization of the filing system to ensure invoices are easily accessible when needed
- Ensure that the filing system remains neat and orderly, and that invoices are filed correctly
- Assist in any other tasks related to filing and organization as needed
