The Senior Manager of Ecommerce Site Merchandising will play a pivotal role in elevating the company’s Ecommerce strategy by optimizing the customer experience and driving sales growth. Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, this role requires a visionary leader who will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, IT, and Digital, to execute and refine site merchandising strategies. The Senior Manager will focus on delivering seamless and intuitive site experiences, optimizing site performance, and driving conversion while managing a high-performing team to meet business objectives and KPIs.Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Cavender’s Mission, Vision, and Values, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
- Collaborate with the Director of Ecommerce and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Merchandising, IT, Digital) to align on strategy, business objectives, KPIs, and reporting
- Lead and execute merchandising initiatives and campaigns, working with teams to optimize product priorities and user experience (site taxonomy, navigation, filtering)
- Optimize site performance through ongoing enhancements, testing search functionality, and improving product categorization
- Monitor and analyze site health and performance, providing insights to improve conversion and demand
- Refine product detail pages (PDP), brand pages, and landing pages to boost customer experience and conversion
- Ensure product availability is accurately reflected, aligning product links with marketing materials
- Lead and mentor the site merchandising team, ensuring operational excellence and business growth
- Develop processes, tools, and materials to support ecommerce business development
- Oversee the end-to-end design of Cavenders.com for both desktop and mobile, ensuring seamless customer experiences
- Track customer behavior and market analysis to refine strategies and optimize performance
- Prioritize initiatives using KPIs, research, and market insights
- Collaborate to implement best practices in UI / UX and optimize cross-channel and omni-channel experiences
- Manage ecommerce P&L, budget forecasting, and expenses to ensure cost-effective practices
- Drive email marketing revenues through segmentation, list growth, and increased efficiency
- Negotiate contracts to improve operational and financial outcomes
- Identify and implement emerging tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience
- Regularly track and review customer engagement metrics to ensure high-quality experiences across channels
- Partner with Marketing and Planning teams for sales forecasting, marketing execution, and merchandising strategies
- Lead efforts in driving email marketing revenues by focusing on list growth, segmentation, and increased efficiency
