What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Cavendish Town Elementary School?
Cavendish Town Elementary School has an opening for the 2025-2026 school year for a Pre-School Teacher.
The ideal candidate should have relevant teaching experience that demonstrates the following:
- Possess a strong foundation in the Vermont Early Learning Standards,
- Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment system, CLASS
- Early Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Licensing Regulations and STARS.
- Possess a strong foundation in social emotional development, early literacy and math instruction.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop a program that integrates VELS to meet the differentiated needs of all learners.
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate and work as a team member effectively with students, parents and colleagues
- Ability to use a variety of approaches to establish a safe, caring, respectful and engaging learning environment for all learners.
Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a valid VT Educator License with an Early Childhood Education endorsement
