What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production position at Caviness Beef Packers?
Overview
Employee must be willing and able to work in different aspects of the beef packing industry. Ability to work in hot / humid conditions and stand for the entire shift.
In addition, you will be required to wear all PPE and follow food and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following :
- Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash carcass in preparation for further processing.
Qualifications
- Ability to work around blood and other strong odors.
- Ability to perform repetative motion using your hands / arms / wrist
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects
- Must be able to wear all PPE for job requirement
- Must follow all food and safety protocols
