What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rendering B or C Shift position at Caviness Beef Packers?
We have a great opportunity in our Rendering Dept - B or C shift - this job will require applicant to work in a fast pace environment with numerous moving mechanical part, strong odor, standing/walking for extended periods. We take pride in the cleanliness of our dept., and will require maintaining that cleanliness.
Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Maintain process such as rendering and tissue processes
- lockout tag out
- Disassembling and re-assembling equipment
- Sampling product
- Tracking, reading or creating reports manually or via computer
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
- Maintain safe work environment
- Lift 70 lbs
- Standing for extended periods
- Must wear all PPE
- Ability to climb over 40 feet high to take readings
- Strong odors/humid and hot environment
- Standing for extended periods of time
Qualification:
- Previous experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SCHEDULE/WEENEDS AND SHIFT
- Verifiable stable work history
- Mechanically skills required
