CAVIT School Barber Instructor Position

CAVIT School is seeking a Barber Instructor to mentor, teach, and motivate our students. If you are ready to share your knowledge and skills in the Barber industry with our students, please apply. We offer a $65,000 starting pay plus a $2,500 signing bonus! Additional pay for years of related work experience and degree(s) earned.
Job Responsibilities
- Teaching, mentoring, motivating, and coaching students on the clinic floor and classroom.
- Preparing students to pass the State Board exam and ensuring compliance with State Board rules.
- Participate in various duties such as managing the program, developing curriculum, creating assessments, attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Barber license per Arizona requirement.
- Must possess current Arizona Barber Instructor license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Barber experience.
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Computer skills necessary.
Hours and Availability: Monday-Friday 6:45am-2:45pm

· Life Insurance - $50,000 for employees working 30 hours per week.
· Social Security/Medicare – Employee contribution 7.65%.
· Tax Sheltered Annuity 403(b) – Available at the employee’s expense.
· Long Term Disability Insurance – Provided by the State after 180 days of medical leave.
