CAVIT School Nail Technology Instructor Position

2025-2026 School Year

CAVIT School is seeking a Nail Technology Instructor to mentor, teach, and motivate our students. Additional pay for years of related work experience and degree(s) earned.

Job Responsibilities

• Teaching, mentoring, motivating, and coaching students on the clinic floor and classroom.
• Preparing students to pass the State Board exam and ensuring compliance with State Board rules.
• Participate in various duties such as managing the program, developing curriculum, creating assessments, attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Nail Technology or Cosmetology license per Arizona requirement.
• Must possess current Arizona State Board Instructor license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Nail Tech work experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Computer skills necessary.

Hours and Availability: Monday-Friday 6:45am-2:45pm

· State Retirement – Employees working at least 20 hours/20 weeks are automatically enrolled in the AZ Retirement System (ASRS). CAVIT matches the employee’s contribution to ASRS with each contributing 12.27%.

· Life Insurance - $50,000 for employees working 30 hours per week.

· Social Security/Medicare – Employee contribution 7.65%.

· Long Term Disability Insurance – Provided by the State after 180 days of medical leave.
