Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the establishment and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and VIP seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving for resolution.
- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing reservations and orders as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
