Cashier/Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our new team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and taking orders, assisting with expo line and managing Togo orders. Your ability to engage with customers and effectively communicate will play a crucial role in enhancing their experience at Cavol's Pizza Shop. This is a very important role which requires the ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders using our TOAST POS system.
• Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Prepare all pick up and delivery orders to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and change calculation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Experience in supervising staff or leading teams is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
