Job Summary:
CaVU Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities & Duties:
MUST BE A US CITIZEN
CLEARANCE: US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance or higher
Position Description: Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to develop compelling perspectives and narratives. Ability to work in a hybrid construct of remotely, on-site, as an individual contributor or part of a team.
This position will:
- Work directly with all levels of corporate leadership to develop and execute strategic business objectives to include identification, pursuit, and win of prime and/or subcontracted Government contract opportunities
- Market and leverage existing contracts in the pursuit of expanding current deliveries, new business, for both organic and inorganic opportunities
- Conduct in-depth research into business capabilities to answer complex requests for proposal (RFP)
- Engage workforce to generate compliant and compelling responses to RFPs
- Execute proposal construction to include technical writing in response to RFPs statement of work and other elements of prescribed requirements
- Have ability to decompose complex RFPs to their base elements to build a response plan
- Assist with developing talent solution matrices and screenings
- Tailor resumes to meet RFP requirements and evoke interest in candidates
- Utilize technology for more efficient proposal workflow
- Exercise judgement in regard to ensuring proposals are in compliance
- Assist with contract management
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years of DoN experience (uniformed, government, or industry positions)
- 5 years of DoN operations and mission objectives execution
- Existing relationships with DoN Customers & stakeholders
- Demonstrated, effective communication skills, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, negotiating and problem solving with a wide range of people and leadership
- 4 years of proposal development
- 4 years of research and analysis
- Non-DoD experience to include basic Human Resources (HR) General Support
- Master of Arts or Science from four-year accredited university
- Active, or ability to obtain and maintain, DoD Secret or higher security clearance
- United States Citizen
Comprehensive Compensation & Benefits Package:
Salary at CaVU is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, education, training, certificates, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The expected salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $140,000. To drive fair pay practices for employees, CaVU conducts regular comparisons across our employee groups and the industry. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, CaVU considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
