Cawley Environmental Services, Inc. (CES) is seeking full-time and part-time water treatment operators and wastewater treatment operators (certification preferred). CES is a circuit rider company who provides operations and maintenance services to municipalities and the private sector for water and wastewater treatment facilities in eastern Pennsylvania. CES is looking for mechanically inclined people to join our team who possess the highest level of ethics, morals and professionalism and initiative while providing high quality services.

Water and Wastewater Operators’ responsibilities include: Monitoring & control of water treatment & delivery systems. Performs routine daily sampling, testing, inspections, and analysis. Follows standard operating procedures for water treatment/disinfection or wastewater treatment, inspects and maintains pumps, tubing, and other equipment used in treatment process. Maintains treatment chemical inventory and accurate records Performs required analysis for environmental testing and reporting. Ensures plant is well maintained to allow for maximum reliability and regulatory authority compliance. Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, and control problems and makes minor repairs.
Position Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
Experience: Experience preferred, but not required. Extensive training period prior to assuming full responsibilities. Must have necessary DEP certification or secure necessary certification(s) within 18 months of hire.
Ability to work with pumps, strainers, and other similar equipment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: successful candidates will be able to: exhibit full range of motion for tasks such as climbing ladders and structures, balancing, kneeling, grasping, as well as tolerate heights, lift up to 75 pounds, work outdoors in all types of weather.

NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. * Must be able to pass drug test and background checks required for clearance to certain client facilities.*
